Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I am currently in Eatonton, GA. We do not offer walk in service nor do we have a store front, I am operating in a licensed home. Orders must be made in advance and consultations are appointment only

How far in advance to I need to put in my order?

As early as possible! I am a one women baker and am limited to what I can take on. A week to two week will be enough notice if the date is available!

Do you ever take last minute orders?

(Sometimes we have availability, doesn't hurt to ask) If you placed your order within 7 days prior to your order due date, order requires to be paid in full after receiving your initial email.

How do I order?

To order use the order form on our site. Once the details of your order is finalized, you will receive an emailed invoice.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, all our desserts require a $25 deposit only on special occasion cakes. Wedding cakes require a 10% deposit on the final. We accept Cash, PayPal, Credit, or Debit.

Why are custom cakes so expensive?

"All good things cost!"   "You pay for the best!"
We are passionate for what we do, we also put into our cakes hard working labor as well as we take pride in everything that we do. Supermarket cakes don’t have the creatively and personalization that a custom baker has

Do you do cake tastings?

Yes, we do tastings for wedding cakes only. Consultations are available by appointment only

Do you provide desserts for special diets?

We are able to accommodate some allergy & dietary restrictions.  At this time, we do not offer specialized gluten free or sugar free items.

Do you Deliver?

Delivery is available throughout the Georgia area, and fees are based on mileage and any set-up labor required.

If I pick up my cake, how should I transport it?

You should ensure that you have a clean, flat surface to set the cake on while driving. The cake should NOT be placed on the seat of a car or on someone's lap because it may cause damage to the cake. Vans, SUVs and any vehicle that the back seat folds in so the air can make it to the trunk are best for traveling with the cake. You assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.

Do you ship?

We are currently unable to ship cakes.  Delivery is available.

Do you use fondant only?

No, and honestly it is what I prefer. It just allows me to be more creative with the cake when using fondant and it gives is a smoother look. Yes you can eat fondant, the fondant I use taste great, but you do have the option of peeling it off when eating your cake. Buttercream only is still an option you can choose, I can still make a fabulous cake.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

You have 48 hours to pay your deposit for orders that require one. All other orders refer to the "Payment Due" date on the invoice. If not paid by the due date your order will be canceled without notice. After your deposit is paid, you have 24 hours after your order is placed to cancel your order. After the 24 hours have passed your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Final payment is due 7 days prior to your order being delivered. If final payment is not received by due date order will be canceled without notice. If you decide to cancel you order 7 days befor it was due you will get the final payment amount back but not the deposit. You have 1 week before your delivery date to cancel your order. If you cancel anytime after the 7 days, your order becomes non-refundable and non-transferable.
